-I have been to Medina of Marrakech

• Describe the site: The Medina of Marrakech founded by the Almoravids in 1070-72 became the capital and the economic-political center. During the following two centuries the city was developed from the original Almoravid layout. From the original medina, the walls built in the 12th century and the palm groves in the east of the city are preserved.

• What kind uwhs is it? The Medina of Marrakech is a cultural site.

• Year of inscription in the uwhs list? The date of inscription in the uwsh was in 1985.

I haven't  been in  istambul 

• Describe the site: Istanbul historically known as Byzantium and,
• later,Constantinople, is the most populous city in Turkey and the historical, cultural and economic center of the country. It is a city located in the Bosphorus strait that separates Europe and Asia. It was founded with the name of Byzantium around 660 a. C

• What kind uwhs is it?  Istambul  is a cultural site.

• Year of inscription in the uwhs list? The date of inscriptin in the uwsh is in 1985
